FAQ'

First and foremost, it is to be learned that Freemasons and Masonry are devoted to charitable and good-will causes in our communities.

A Mason can only be a man because our ancient fraternity was formed exclusively for men, and not for just any man - you must be of good standing, sound mind, excellent background, and have absolutely no problems with the law.

A Mason can be any skin color or religion, but must have a faith and belief in his God.  A Mason is a good, faithful, and honest man who mixes with other like-minded Masons - who are known as his Brothers (the brethren).

For centuries, Freemasons have been seen as pivotal men at the height of social standing and decency.  Dressed in suits and using secret handshakes and passwords, some people believe that Masons are secretive in their tasks and undertakings, but in actual fact the only real secrets are kept between the brothers to make it easy to identify one another. The things that Masons do behind closed doors may seem secretive, but as a charitable not-for-profit family of givers and carers, your local community benefits from Masonic work in all walks of life even if you can't see it or didn't know it.  In fact, the entire United States government was founded and forged from the principals of Freemasonry.  Not sure what that means?  Please feel free to read this section of questions and answers, or click the link to Grand Lodge at the page footer.
